The national flag of Ireland also known as the Irish tricolour is a vertical tricolour starting with green at the post white in the middle and the orange at the end. It is flown horizontally and it width is twice as long as its height each colour in the tricolour has a meaning the meanings are:

WHITE REPRESENTS THE ASPIRATION OF PEACE BETWEEN THEM
ORANGE REPRESENTS THE FOLLOWERS OF WILLIAM ORANGE IN IRELAND
